1 kg chicken breast or thigh, julienned (thin strips)

2 tbsp plain yogurt

½ Turkish tea glass olive oil (about 40ml)

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 medium onion

Blend the marinade:
In a food processor, combine yogurt, olive oil, tomato paste, garlic, onion, Baharat Chicken Shish Seasoning, and blend until smooth. -
Marinate the chicken:
Pour the marinade over the chicken strips. Mix well so every piece is coated. -
Shape and freeze:
Place the marinated chicken on cling film (plastic wrap), shape into a tight roll, and freeze for a few hours or overnight. This makes it easy to slice thin, döner-style pieces later. -
Cook straight from frozen:
When ready to cook, take out the roll and slice immediately (no thawing needed). Fry or grill until golden and cooked through.
