🌿 6 Ways to Cook with Mediterranean Seasoning

Each recipe uses:

  • 500g chicken, lamb, fish, halloumi, or veg

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

  • Optional flavour boost: 1 grated garlic clove, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice or yogurt

  • Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or longer for deeper flavour)

Serving suggestions:
Serve with couscous, roasted veg, pita bread, salads, or grilled potatoes.


🔥 1. Oven-Roasted Chicken Thighs

You’ll need:

  • 500g chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

  • Optional: 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp lemon juice

Steps:

  1. Coat chicken with seasoning and optional ingredients.

  2. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Roast at 200°C (fan) for 35–40 mins until golden and crisp.

  4. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Serve with couscous, Greek yogurt, or roasted veg.

You’ll need:

  • 500g lamb chops or cutlets

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

Steps:

  2. Marinate for 30–60 mins.

  3. Pan-fry on high heat for 3–4 mins per side.

  4. Rest and serve with lemon wedges.

You’ll need:

  • 250g halloumi, cubed + 250g mixed peppers, courgette, onion

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

  • Optional: 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Wooden skewers (soaked) or metal MeatSkewers

Steps:

  1. Toss halloumi and veg in seasoning and oil.

  2. Thread onto skewers.

  3. Air fry at 180°C for 10–12 mins, turning halfway.

Serve with hummus, tabbouleh or warm pita.

You’ll need:

  • 500g sea bass or other white fish fillets

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

  • Optional: olive oil and lemon juice

Steps:

  1. Rub seasoning and oil onto the fish.

  2. Let rest for 20 mins.

  3. Grill skin-side down for 3–4 mins per side.

Great with grilled potatoes or a zesty salad.

You’ll need:

  • 500g mixed veg (courgette, peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes)

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

  • Optional: olive oil

Steps:

  1. Toss veg with seasoning and oil.

  2. Spread on a tray and roast at 200°C for 30–35 mins.

  3. Turn once for even roasting.

Serve warm or cold with feta, hummus, or flatbread.

You’ll need:

  • 500g thinly sliced chicken breast

  • 2 tbsp Baharat Mediterranean Seasoning

  • Optional: olive oil + lemon juice

  • Loaf tin

Steps:

  1. Mix chicken with seasoning and extras.

  2. Marinate for 1–2 hours.

  3. Layer slices tightly into loaf tin.

  4. Bake at 200°C for 30–35 mins.

  5. Rest, then slice thin.

Great for wraps, meal prep, or stuffing into pita.
