KOFTE KEBAB SEASONING
The Kofte Kebab can be shaped either as a ball, patties or sausage shape. This mince is where it gets its name as Kofte, translated this means to pound or to grind and Kebab means pieces of meat, fish, or vegetables roasted or grilled on a skewer or spit. Our Kofte Kebab Seasoning is based on Turkish flavourings which they would traditionally serve in kebab houses, accompanied by Tzatziki or plain yoghurt.
Traditional Turkish shoarma is a well-marinated meat, layered on a vertical rotisserie or spit where it's slow roasted for days in its own juices and fat, until perfectly tender and extra flavourful! To serve it, typically they shave a layer of shawarma off the spit and pile it up into a pita pocket, jazz it with tahini sauce and heaps upon heaps of fresh toppings!
