Recipe:
- Add 2 or 3 tbsp of our seasoning to 500 grams of mince meat of your choice
- Mix or blend in a food processor
- let sit for 1 hour or more
- Roll the mince mix and shape it into a block or loaf shape. Really compress it hard into shape to make sure it sticks together during cooking.
- Wrap loosely in tin foil.
- Put in the slow cooker, drizzle with oil and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 7-8 hours.
- Remove cooked mince loaf from cooker.
- Leave to rest for 10 minutes.
- While the meat is resting, heat the pitta under the grill and prepare the salad.
- Slice the meat into thin slices. Tip - use a vegetable peeler to achieve takeaway style slices.
- Serve in the warm pitta along with choice of salad and sauces.
