Once upon a time in my cozy kitchen, I embarked on a culinary adventure inspired by my love for savoury delights. Armed with marinated chicken, authentic spices, and a heart full of enthusiasm, I set out to recreate the beloved street-food classic – the Chicken Doner. 🍗🌮
Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken breast
Flatbread
For the marinade:
3 tablespoons plain yoghurt
3-4 cloves of garlic, grated
2-3 tablespoon Chicken Doner Seasoning
Salt (optional)
1/2 juice of a lemon
Turkish Garlic Sauce:
2 cloves garlic grated
2 tbsp yogurt
3 tbsp mayonnaise
salt and pepper
Preparation:
- Halve the chicken and cut into thin strips
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade
- Then add the meat to the bowl and mix well
- Cover and leave the chicken to stand in the refrigerator for approx. 3 hours
- Then heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat in batches
- Mix all the ingredients for the white sauce
- Cover and roll up and fry in pan on both sides
