All Baharat Recipes

1. Doner Kebab:

Doner Kebab Ingredients

1 tbsp. Doner Kebab Seasoning
500 grams of minced meat
3 tbsp. yogurt
1 small, grated onion
1 grated garlic clove
1 tbsp. tomato paste

Method
1. Tip all the ingredients into a food processor
2. Pulse until everything is combined
3. Let the mixture sit for 1 hour
4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 4)
5. Now put the mixture in a loaf tin (or make a cylinder shape) and place it on a baking tray
6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the loaf is evenly browned
7. Remove the loaf from the oven and cover it with foil
8. Leave the kebab cool for 15 minutes
9. Serve with pita bread and/or favourite salad

2. Spicy Chicken Doner Kebab:

Spicy Chicken Doner Kebab Ingredients
1 tbsp. Spicy Chicken Doner Kebab Seasoning
500 grams of chicken or turkey
3 tbsp. yogurt
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1 small, grated onion
1 grated garlic clove

Method
1. Tip all the ingredients into a food processor
2. Pulse until everything is combined.
3. Let the mixture sit for 1 hour.
4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 4)
5. Now put the mixture in a loaf tin (or make a cylinder shape) and place it on a baking tray.

3. Kofte kebab:

Kofte Kebab Ingredients
1 tbsp Kofte Kebab Seasoning
500 grams of mincemeat
1 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. yogurt
1 small onion(grated)
1 clove garlic (grated)

Method
1. Take a bowl and add all ingredients
2. Mix until combined
3. Let it sit for 1 hour 
4. Divide the mixture into eight balls
5. Then roll each ball on a board with a cupped hand to make oval shapes. 
6. Thread onto four skewers (metal/wooden) and brush with oil.
7. Heat a pan until a good heat rising and cook for 5 mins on each side.
8. Serve the kofte with flatbread and tzatziki and/or rice and chips

4. Adana Kebab:

Adana Kebab Ingredients
1 tbsp. Adana Kebab Seasoning
1 tbsp. tomato paste
500 grams of minced meat
1 small onion (chopped)
1 grated garlic clove
1 red or green pepper (chopped)
2 tbsp. fresh parsley (chopped)

Method
1. Take a bowl and add all ingredients
2. Mix until combined
3. Let it sit for 1 hour
4. Wet your hands and place a quarter of the mixture into your hand
5. Form a cylinder shape, then flatten alternative thread onto skewers
6. Take a large pan and fry The meat in a splash of oil for 5 minutes on each side
7. Keep them turning
8. Serve with rice, chips and/or your favourite salad

5. Shoarma:

Shoarma Ingredients
1 tbsp. Shawarma Seasoning
500 grams of Lamb, beef or chicken
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
3 tbsp. of olive oil
1 small onion (grated)
1 grated garlic clove

Method
1. Thinly slice the meat into small bite-sized pieces
2. Take a bowl and add all ingredients
3. Mix until combined
4. Let it sit for 1 hour
5. Preheat oven 200°C
6. Arrange the meat in baking tray
7. Roast in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes
8. Serve with pita bread, garlic sauce, chips and/or your favourite salad

6. Chicken Shish Kebab:

Chicken Shish Kebab Ingredients
1 tbsp. Chicken Shish Kebab Seasoning
500 grams of chicken
2 tbsp. of olive oil
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. yogurt
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1 small, grated onion
1 grated garlic clove

Method
1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces using scissors.
2. Take a bowl and add all ingredients
3. Mix until combined
4. Let it sit for 1 hour
5. Fry the chicken in a splash of oil in a large pan for 10 minutes, moving the pieces only occasionally so they blacken. You can also cook the kebabs on a grill or barbecue, turning them halfway through
6. Serve with chips, rice and/or your favourite salad
