URFA BIBER (ISOT PEPPER)
In Urfa the Southeast of Turkey, you will find black Urfa biber on almost every table. It's delicious on kebabs and other grilled meats and veggies, cooked into stews and chilis, in salad dressings, sprinkled on fluffy scrambled eggs or basically on anything. After it being cured, our Urfa chili is packed with Himalaya salt and a little Turkish olive oil to preserve its natural texture and flavour but mostly to prevent it from drying out.
YAPRAK KEKIK (OREGANO)
Our zesty oregano comes from Izmir, where they are picked by hand. These perfectly grown herbs have everything we love about oregano, but with a particularly beautiful spicy, hoppy twist. Crumble into a salad dressing, over pasta and pizza, roast chicken, and meat marinades, or just sneak them into your grilled cheese sandwich.
Our Anatolian mint grows in the south-east of Turkey. We were blown away by its sweetness, brightness, and intensity. Crumble dried mint leaves into salads, grain dishes and tomato sauces or simply infuse in hot water for a fragrant mint tea.
PUL BIBER (ALEPPO PEPPER)
Our pul biber comes from Kahramanmaras, Turkey, It has been cultivated in Turkey for centuries. It is naturally preserved with a little bit of Himalaya salt and olive oil to keep them fresh and flavourful. They have a warm, tomato-like flavour and a medium heat. Use in any dish in need of a little excitement, from scrambled eggs to burgers and even on salad. Perfect for cooking or finishing.
It was great. I have no idea how these spices are so much more fragrant and pungent than everything else I’ve used. Great stuff, will definitely order again.
