100g Urfa biber (Isot pepper)
In Urfa the Southeast of Turkey, you will find black Urfa biber on almost every table. It's delicious on kebabs and other grilled meats and veggies, cooked into stews and chilis, in salad dressings, and even sprinkled on your salad bowl. After it being cured, our Urfa chili is packed with Himalayan salt and a little Turkish olive oil to preserve its natural texture and flavour but mostly to prevent it from drying out.

Oh, these are so good! If you like chillies but have never tried Urfa chillies then you really should buy some! They have a unique taste - slightly smoky, tangy, a mild heat, very versatile and very addictive!
Tried it on some fried eggs. Great taste!
This has now replaced my usual black peppercorns for seasoning most foods. Put into soups, salads or meats it works well with all of it. Just enough heat to add a kick but not overpowering.
Packaging keeps it fresh and easy to use. Great product.
I have been using this as a deeply flavourful finishing on repeat. It is GORGEOUS, pungent, and adds heat and depth without being too spicy!
I added this to my order as an experiment. It's a warm, smoky (but not too smoky) chili with a depth of flavor I didn't expect. I've been adding it to everything from sautéed veggies to sourdough rye rolls. I'm going to have to restock faster than I thought. :)
